                                                 Kerstin Linnartz

lehrerin

Kerstin has been practicing Yoga for the past 13 years. She spends her winters in India where she teaches regularly. It is in India, that she experienced her first yoga teacher training in the tradition of Sivananda Yoga including Yoga asanas, meditation, Vedanta philosophy, proper breathing and nutrition. In Austria, she deepened her knowledge at the Sivananda ashram with an advanced teachers training focusing on Yoga anatomy. She studied Kriya Yoga during a one year lecture after the original scriptures of Paramahansa Yogananda. In many years of her own practice, she collected lots of inspiration from numerous teachers at Yoga ashrams and centers in the USA, Europe and, of course, India.

Thus, her teaching also includes elements of the more dynamic styles Jivanmukti and Ashtanga Yoga, which she practices with great passion. This passion and the joy from Yoga, touches the students in her classes and therefore Kerstin is not only teaching simple forms, but much more. The complete package of Yoga, which cannot only de-stresses and relaxes your life but very much enriches it with more health, tranquility and real joy shining from inside out.

Having 12 years of experience on stages and in studios as an actress and TV-presenter, Kerstin knows how to use body and voice to really reach the listener. She uses this talent to help her students into a deep experience during their own practice and shows them how to take Yoga from the mat into everyday life.

Yoga has changed my life 180 degrees. It helped me to let go of stress, drama and chaos in my life. It turned me into one of the happiest and healthiest people i know. Yoga shows you a way to treat yourself better. This is an experience I want to share.
