Our Vision

What we impart is the vision of Rishis {Yogis}, the sages of yore. Teachings of which have been handed over by our Rishis {Yogis}, through centuries of Guru-disciple lineage. Self- discovery and freedom is the ultimate goal.

About our Teaching

Though we stand for traditional style and vision of teaching yoga, yet we have incorporated B.K.S. Iyengar ,Sivananda and Pattabi jois styles into our teaching, Having being influenced a lot by BKS Iyenger the use of props are incorporated into asana practice to ensure correct posture and alignment. Apart from asana perfection using props, our emphasis is on the regulation of breath and focus of your mind. Every asana is used as a tool to guide you to gain your natural meditative state. This will help you focus your awareness in more meaningful ways which will deepen your practice. If your intention is to become a yoga teacher your you will become very confident with sequencing, the guiding principles of focusing and breath movement and a very comprehensive knowledge of all eight limbs of yoga as presented by Maharishi Patanjali in the yoga sutras through our philosophical classes and different type of meditative sessions.

We consider the practice of Ayurvedic living as very important and should be combined with yoga to compliment the benefits of yoga. We have incorporated quite a lot of teachings on the science Ayuveda. So you will be able to have a much greater understanding of the science and can share this with others.

This course is designed for those who are interested in deepening their current yoga practice, advanced students and aspiring teachers of all ages.

In addition to these, we have music and Bhajans at the time of Satsang and other creative self-healing sessions.

Throughout the course there will be some inspirational guest yoga teachers, teaching our morning Yoga session which will give you more experience of different teaching styles.

Pranayama

Prana is the breath, yama here is control. Deliberately you walk the prana in differently modified ways scripted by the scriptures. prana and mind are closely connected or putting it the other way around your breath and emotions work in tandem. Our emotions are formed by a particular way of thinking. The uninitiated can have no say over this habitual thinking.

yoga-teacher-training-2

When you are under the spell of a storm, any amount of analysis won’t rescue you immediately from the situation. You can have an immediate relief on working on your prana-breath. In a period of emotional disturbance your pranic activity becomes imbalanced and you can become tense, anxious and even experience feelings of helplessness. By controlled breathing in specified ways, one can bring back the breath and re-balance the body and mind to a more relaxed and calmer state.

It can also vitalize your immune system. It can keep you away from diseases and prepare your mind for meditation.

We teach you different types of pranayama enabling you to experience and teach a large variety of practices.

Puja (prayer)

Prayer is a method in which you are invoking subtle energy forces to remove your obstacles to achieve the desired goal. We make a Sankalpa {resolution} and offer obligation to the fire or a deity, also in form of recitation of the Mantra.

All the forms are symbols of energy. We invoke a particular energy in a particular form, whether it’s Shiva or Shakti. We learn the meaning of symbol of Indian culture.

You cannot always control what goes on outside. But you can always control what goes on inside.
