Q: Is the asana training intensive?
A: No, the asana training is not intensive and is designed to keep it as simple as possible. The theory course focuses on achieving a holistic knowledge of yoga and gaining the skills necessary to teach yoga to others with awareness and understanding.

During the Yoga Teacher Training


Q: Do I need to purchase all the books mentioned in the text list?

A: No, we recommend that you purchase all the books mentioned in the reference section and read them prior to the training and if possible, bring them all with you.

Q: Do I need to follow any ethical guidelines?

A: Yes, some very simple guidelines are there to help you create a sattvic (yogic) environment, useful to learn which all trainees need to adhere to. Trainees in residence are not allowed to consume drugs, alcohol and cigarette. They are also asked to maintain silence.

Q: How much time should I expect to spend on my own asana practice?

A: You are expected to have minimum daily practice. 30 minutes of asana, 10 minutes of Pranayama and 20 minutes of meditation is compulsory.

Q: Will I get an opportunity to take classes while training?

A: Yes indeed you would get the golden opportunity to teach your fellow trainees under the supervision of a senior teacher.

 

Before Enrolling

Q: Do I need any kind of expertise to enroll in the Yoga Teacher Training course?

A: No, there is no special expertise that you require.
In fact, anyone irrespective of their age can join this yoga training program. Flexibility and strength are enhanced by your practice. The presence and guidance of a Master will deepen your yoga asana practice and awareness level.

If you are into yoga training from quite some time this course would be an added advantage for you. Your awareness at mental and physical level would be taken to a new high and it would eventually enhance your Yoga teaching skills for future.
Q: How are the asana classes conducted?

A: The asana classes are a blend of AshtangaVinyasa, Iyengar and Hatha Yoga of Sivananda based teachings.

Q: Can I enroll if my body is not very flexible or too old?

A: Yes, any and every one can enroll for this enchanting course.

Q: Would I get any certificate on completion of the course?

A: You would be given YOGA Alliance (USA) certification and International Yoga federation recognized certificate.

Q: how many teachers do you have?

A: We have a group of dedicated and experienced yoga teachers to render yoga teacher training.

Q: If I am already a yoga teacher will this course be beneficial for me?

A: If you are already teaching yoga this course would be really beneficial for you. It would give your yoga teaching skills to a new dimension.

Q: If I have an injury can in I enroll?

A: Yes you can enroll even if you are injured. But you need to inform us in advance.
Q:I have a background in physiotherapy; can this yoga training enhance my career?

A: This course would definitely be a boon for you if you have a background in physiotherapy. You can greatly help your clients with the yoga postures that you learn during the program.

Q: I follow a different spiritual path (or I don’t have a spiritual path), is this ok?

A: It is perfectly alright. Yoga can only deepen your spirituality. And if you are not spiritual it is likely that while undergoing the training you might start believing in it.

Q: How many students are there in the training batch?

A: We can accommodate 12 to 24 students in each training session.

Q: Is there any age limit to enroll for this training?

A: You can start your yoga training at any age.

Q: Do I need other qualifications or experience to be accepted into the training?

A: No, you don’t need any other qualification for enrolling in the course.

Q: How do I apply for the training?

A: Please complete and send the application form along with the advance payment to secure your place in the training program. We would ensure that your application would be confirmed by one of the NeoYoga team members at the earliest.
Q: Will I have free time during the training?
